Maintenance Controls Technician
Camaco is seeking a Controls Technician for our Columbus Plant, producing seat frames for the automotive industry. We have the most Robotic Welding and Largest Presses in Nebraska.
We usually respond within three days
Responsible for new electrical controls and supporting existing controls throughout the Division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide daily support to plant operations.
- Program machinery using various software programs to automate the machines.
- Support implementation and installation of new and rebuilt equipment.
- Read electrical schematics and other documents to diagnose and repair machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
- Communicate with co-workers and others to carry out job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Electrician status in Machine Repair and/or equivalent on the job experience.
- Technical certification with PLC or CNC Controls preferred.
- Experience with LabView is a plus.
- 5 plus years of related work experience with plant floor experience.

- Advanced equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Allen Bradley PLC, Controls Logix, Servo Controllers, HMI products and software, VDF, ASI and Robots.
- Working knowledge of NEC and ANSI codes
- Familiarity with automotive specifications
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems sufficient to diagnose and repair machines.
- Experience with LabView
- Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform related tasks required.
- Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on the plant floor.
