Continuous Improvement Regional Manager
Purpose
The Continuous Improvement Manager manages, analyzes, maintains, and optimizes the organizational performance of North America plants to drive profitable performance of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the company’s strategic goals and makes decisions guiding productivity, quality, and cost efficiency of plant operations.
- Establishes systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and set performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals.
- Analyze and understand processes in various departments, identifying areas of waste or inefficiency.
- Lead, develop and execute improvement strategies, including change management activities in alignment with Camaco’s Manufacturing System requirements.
- Ensures robust plant safety and security procedures and training are in place and that operations are in compliance with all required regulations.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
- Conduct continuous improvement training and workshops for staff at all levels.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
- Use a range of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigman, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen to drive process improvements.
- Maintain reports of continuous improvement activities and present progress to senior management as needed.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and work closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.
- Drives lean manufacturing and Camaco Manufacturing System (CAMS) principles and practices through the manufacturing facilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain management or related field.
- Experience with Automation of production processes, robotic welding, assembly lines and stamping process;
- Proven work experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong project management skills.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior Continuous Improvement manager experience
- Experience in welded assembly and stamping operations
