Plant IT Manager
Camaco is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead IT-related activities in our fast paced automotive seat frame manufacturing plant.
Purpose
The Plant IT Manager is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. Plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the plant, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. Work closely with all departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Engineering of IT related solutions for various projects and operational needs.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Administers e-mail and anti-virus systems.
- Maintain system standards.
- System monitoring to include verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, etc.
- Daily backup operations.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts.
- Repair and recover hardware or software failures.
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other documented procedures and diagrams.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Determine the goals of IT within broad outlines provided by the executive management and contribute to the continuity of computer services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and office automation equipment.
- Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
- Oversee provisions of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
- Practice asset management for IT hardware, software and equipment.
- Manage IT staffing, including supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, with a technical major and/or experience in the computer science field.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management of the employees within that department. This position also will have dotted line supervisory responsibility for the regional IT specialists at our manufacturing facilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting and on the plant floor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
